This is a notice to tell you our policy about all information that we record about you. It covers both information that could identify you and information that could not.

We are extremely concerned to protect your privacy and confidentiality. We understand that all users of our web site are quite rightly concerned to know that their data will not be used for any purpose unintended by them, and will not accidentally fall into the hands of a third party. Our policy is both specific and strict. It complies with Australian law . If you think our policy falls short of your expectations or that we are failing to abide by our policy, do please tell us.

We regret that if there are one or more points below with which you are not happy, your only recourse is to leave our web site immediately.

Except as set out below, we do not share, or sell, or disclose to a third party, any personally identifiable information collected at this site.

Here is a list of the information we collect from you, either through our web site or because you give it to us in some other way, and why it is necessary to collect it:

  1. Basic identification and contact information, such as your name and contact details.


This information is used:

1.1.        to provide you with the services which you request;

1.2.        for verifying your identity for security purposes;

1.3.        for marketing our services and products;

1.4.        information which does not identify any individual may be used in a general way by us or third parties, to provide class information, for example relating to demographics or usage of a particular page or service.

COVID-19

In accordance with Public Health (COVID-19 Restrictions on Gathering and Movement) Order (No 4) 2020 (and subsequent revisions)
under the Public Health Act 2010 Misty Glen Wines and Misty Glen Cottage is obliged to collect contact details of visitors for the purposes of contact tracing.

Entry to our premises will be refused should you not comply with this or any of the other provisions specified in the order or other relevant public health orders or laws.

Misty Glen Wines and Misty Glen Cottage are registered COVID Safe and have COVID Safe plans in place. Our conditions for wine tasting and accommodation stays are outlined on this website.

Terms and Conditions

Wine Sales
It is against the law to sell or supply alcohol to, or obtain alcohol on behalf of, a person under the age of 18 years.
It is also an offence for a person under the age of 18 to take delivery of wine on your behalf.

Delivery Policy
We deliver products Australia wide using Fastway Couriers. Shipping costs are influenced by the size and weight of the product and your location, exact shipping costs are calculated in the shopping cart and will be added to the order total before checkout. 
Orders are usually dispatched within 2 business days and shipping times are estimated at between 3-7 business days depending on your location within Australia.  

Fastway Couriers do not deliver to PO boxes or and some destinations in rural Australia, in these instances Australia Post is used.

Shipping Destinations: 
We do NOT accept international orders through our website, please contact us on +61 2 4998 7781 to enquire about a special order.

Refunds
We trust that you will be happy with our wines. We will replace or refund wines damaged or broken in transit when shipped by us.
We do not normally give refunds should you make a incorrect selection or the wine is not to your taste. Please review your order carefully before confirming.
You can choose between a refund, exchange or credit where goods are faulty, have been wrongly described, are different to the product purchased on the website or doesn’t perform as advertised.

Correct storage of wine: Wine should be stored in a cool, low humidity location, prolonged exposure to heat, such as being stored near or on a fridge can damage the wine. With the exception of our sparkling wines, all our wines are bottled with a screwcap and therefore should not suffer cork taint, known as being “corked”.

Wine Clubs
By joining Misty Glen’s Wine Clubs you agree to receive wines as set out in the membership agreement.
You can cancel your membership after fulfilling your commitment in the first year of joining the club or put your membership on hold by email to

Club member benefits may vary from time to time.
