One of the challenges of growing Chambourcin is to control the vigorous nature of the vine and balance yields to allow for optimum ripeness, colour and flavour, at Misty Glen we believe that this is achieved.
- Winemaking
With such distinctive Chambourcin characteristics, this wine does shine! This is our soft and smooth, easy to drink red. Offering earthy, fine & subtle tannins this entices the palate with notes of cherry and spice. This wine is fruit driven with great body structure, offering a fresh & clean red!
- Tasting Notes
A medium bodied wine, fantastic slightly chilled in the summer. Mulberry and blackberry flavours with a hint of pepper and spice.
Naturally low in tannin for a soft mouthfeel.
Pronounced "Sham-Bore-San" !
